Founder, Peter Kogler, started washing windows in 1973. Born in Austria, Peter's family emigrated to Canada when he was 3. He grew up in southern Quebec and earned a B.A. degree in psychology from Bishop's University in Lennoxville, QC. Peter coached soccer in Ballard for several years, plays keyboard at Ballard Baptist Church, is an amateur historian and still plays soccer 2 times a week. He has 2 children. "I love the window cleaning business. We deal with friendly people and can immediately see the results of our labors. Also, Seattle is a great place to be." |
Chelsea Orellana is the pleasant voice on the phone. Chelsea is involved with scheduling and customer service. Chelsea is a Ballard native, and graduate of Ballard High School class of 2005. She's also the boss's daughter. She and her husband, Pedro, have a winsome toddler, Tavien, who can sometimes be heard yelling in the background. |
Eric Green, has come to us from Montana. He's been with Capitol Cleaning for about 2 years which is remarkable for someone of his restless spirit. We have greatly appreciated his solid, business-like approach and his fine conscientious work. |
Gustavo Guillen came to America from Mexico to seek his fortune. He has shown a good heart and and a desire to do right. He has recently been joined by his beautiful wife and three adorable little children. He recently passed the first stage of the IWCCI certification process. |
Scott Beck started washing windows at an early age, working for his uncle. Scott brings a wealth of experience including training at the fire department. Occasionally he still educates children in his role as Sparky the Fire Dog at schools. |
Thavone Saysanasy (Vone) is one of the best in the business. He is well known in window cleaning circles, having cleaned most of the buildings downtown. He's currently in charge of our commercial division. His skills and work ethic have earned him the nickname "Pac-Man". |
Daniel DeHaas is a recent arrival form New Mexico rapidly learning his new trade. |
